About Me:My name is Martin and Im from sweden, going in highschool atm and spend like 30% of my lifetime atm in my apartment so.. im not that kind of busy at my sparetime. I am serious and enjoy playing world of warcraft with people like me that not braindead :) What are you looking for in a guild?
Experianced and skilled people that you do not call "scrubs". I want hardcore progress but do not mind if we wipe. Reasons for leaving previous/current guild?
Got disbandad - too much inactivity What kind of experience do you have with the game?
Played since pre TBC - got like maximized experiance with my class. Describe your role in a group.Demonology: If I'm the only warlock in group I'd rather use CoE because of the 13% more spelldmg and the reduction of resistant on target, it really helps out the raid and myself. At the beginning of the fight I usually use Life Tap for the buff of spellpower (for this buff we need the glyph 'Glyph of Life Tap' which I use. To not lose to much hp and waste the healers mana at beginning I'd use a lowlevel rank of Life Tap so I dont lose that much HP. It can be necessery because there is some encounters you will get huge amount of DMG on you at start and well, would be kind of shame to die because of Life Tap. In general Life Tap is an good "get up mana" skill for warlocks but you have to transfer your HP. It's pretty important to know when to use it or not, it can both kill you and then slow down your dps if you not use it at the right time. In an encounter I'm trying to use it when I must stop with my rotation and like move or something. And when I'm talking about moving I can also tell that when you're moving you can use non-casttime spells, it really helps out the dps (like Corruption). Enough of Life Tap, when I used my Life Tap at start and cast CoE I put Immolate and Corruption up on target. During this "start" dotting I use [Demonic Empowerment]. Improves my Fel Guards damage. I mostly use this skill asap the cd is gone during the whole encounter but in some encounters there might be usefull to use it when your Fel Guard is becoming stunned or something (Demonic Empowerement also removes all effects that would slow them or stun them). But like I said, mostly I just pop this skill asap as the cd is gone. When I got my CoE, Immolate and Corruption up I usually starts spamming Shadowbolts. Now you maybe don't understand why I don't use my CD's but it really depends on the encounter I say... If we take like XT's encounter there is NOT good to pop cds at start because you're dps will become so much better if you'd use it at heart cuz of the extra amount of dmg boost (so you can say, in these encounter there we have some kind of boost you really have to think about when to do cds or not). When I use CD's I have mostly always an Demonic Portal below me that i can portal me too, this because I will use Demon Charge as soon as i pop [Metamorphosis]. I charge the target because of Immolate aura, it only dps ur nearest target for a few yards so you have to be near your target. When you are standing next to boss you just start spamming Shadowbolt (above 35%) or soul fire (below 35%) and keep the dots up still. When [Metamorphosis] is gone I just use my teleport to my old spot so I come to my max range again (not good to be stuck at melee range in mostly encounters). This is how it looks like: [Metamorphosis] -> [Demon Charge] -> [Immolate Aura] -> [Demonic Circle: Teleport] -> Do my usually rotation. Two things to think about is to have [Demonic Circle: Summon] on max range from target and have a macro like this: /cast Demon Charge(Demon) /cast Shadow Cleave(Demon) The macro just make your life easier and you get some extra dmg when you get near target from the cleave like 2k or something. Doesnt destroy your rotation at all. Why I want my [Demonic Circle: Summon] at max range is because of [Demon Charge], you gotta be max range from target else it wont charge you to the target, pretty bugged I'd say. Ok, so yet what ive told my rotation looks like: [CoE] -> [Demonic Empowerment] -> [Immolate] -> [Corruption] -> [Shadow Bolt] and then the CD rotation you can read about earlier in this letter. This rotation I keep up to 35% though forgot one thing to say, the specc Molten Core is something that you gotta stick to. When your Corruption ticks there is an chance your Soul Fire and Incinerate is improved and above 35% where you have to use Soul Shards to use Soul Fire i would rather Incinerate (and below 35% soul fire). So when this procc i can use 3 improved Incinerate or Soul Fire. Below 35% you can use Soul Fire all time but just cuz of this, you shouldnt spam this down to 0%... you should still keep up the dots and stick to the molten core chance on hit thing. So during the whole encounter I'd like to use: CoE, Immolate, Corruption, Molten Core (chance on hit), Demonic Empowerment up and then shadowbolt and soulfire that depends on what % boss is at. This is pretty much it. Perhaps have missed something will edit if I find out. What would you bring to our guild? Why should we pick you?
well, if ud like a serious, experianced, skilled and maximized gear warlock to ur guild I'm the best choice. |
