Late Night guild LFM for 25s

Late Nite raiding guild headed by some beta players, some old friends, and some server xfers now turned new friends is now looking for more members to fill our ranks. Nepentheum is a late nite raiding guild on a PVE Trollbane server. We raid between the hours of 3am - 7am 3 nites/week and plan to eventually move towards 4 nites/week once progression permits. We are working on filling last few remaining slots for our 25 man core.



Atmosphere and Cohesion are the two key elements of this guild and are essentially what will define it's success. Although the guild is young and new, we are already prepared for the raiding before it has even begun. A website is now available @ www.Nepentheum.com(Although unfinished, so excuse us for the mess!), vent, and 4 bank slots are already purchased and filled with raid mats and guild enhancement mats. Nepentheum is ready to take applicants who are not looking for just a guild, but a home.

I am the GM of Nepentheum, so please allow me to tell you a little about myself and how we ended up creating Nepentheum:



I raided for 2+ years on Gilneas. Pre-TBC, I raided thru Maexxna in Naxxramas40. When BC dropped, I ended up raiding for the duration by running several raiding guilds. Due to RL constraints at the time, I was forced to stop raiding on Gilneas and look elsewhere to raid. I chose Trollbane and raided with LIV until beta released and my work schedule changed to days. While in LIV, I saw 6/9 BT & 5/5 MH dead.



While on beta, I co-led a raid guild that conquered all the raid content WOTLK has to offer so far in both 10/25 man versions. I am familiar with all encounters and with what gear level is required to reach each step of progression.



After beta, I had some chats with some old guild buddies of mine and decided we wanted to raid together once more and pwn content. Only this time, all of our schedules kinda conflicted forcing us to raid early in the morning. They decided to xfer here once they found out I would host the guild here in Trollbane. This the beginning of Nepentheum.



We are mostly guys/gals in our twenties who like to have fun in a diligent environment. It's all fun and games til the first pull. From then on it's srsbsnss and take names time. We are looking for experienced raiders, semi-experienced raiders, players who wanted to raid but they couldn't raid the traditional 8-12 EST schedule. We raid late night/early morn from 3AM - 7AM, 3 nights/week starting out and then progressing eventually into a 4 night schedule once we get enough for 25 mans.



What is expected:



*Preparation - including research of encounters, raid consumables, and proper gear enhancement(via enchants, armor kits, etc).



*Sense of Humor - We like to have a good time. If you can't handle players who cuss like sailors and occasionally make off color jokes..this is not a guild for you!



*Dedication - If u can't commit to raid 3 nights a week, this is not the guild for you!



*Patience - On a daily basis we are in search of the next potential Nepentheum recruit. As soon as we can fill a 25 man raid, bosses will drop for sure. Building to that point isn't instant, but not daunting either.



*Attention Span - If you need to be told 8 times that ''Fire R Bad..so stay out!''..yeah..keep moving!!



*Performance - This has 2 categories. One, if your computer can't afford u more than 10-15 FPS consistently, in a heavy graphic raid environment, you will most likely hold us back. Also, if your latency is consistently in the red, can't help you. TWO, are u a competent player? Do you know your class inside and out. Do you know the difference between ''raid spec'' and ''pvp spec''? If not, please hit BACK on your explorer.



*GOOD ATTITUDE - This is the most important thing. The guild name Nepentheum originates from the root word nepenthe which means ~something capable of making one forget grief or suffering~!! If you can't leave your angry wife BS, crazy GF drama, work stress or sexual frustration someplace else other than in the guild..please keep moving! We just wanna have fun and enjoy the game while seeing the raid content blizz throws at us.

Once the application goes through, an interview will be held on vent with myself in which I will chat with said applicant and get a feel for the player behind the toon.
