Casual Schedule, Hardcore Raiding

Phoenix is currently rebuilding to get back into Ulduar 25, clear it and begin Hard Modes. The core of the guild has remained together to rebuild and look for serious raiders. We raid a light casual schedule, but have structured raids, fair and unbiased EPGP loot system and good organization.

Phoenix is about friends and raiding with focus. We are looking for players like ourselves who can commit to progression and realize wiping for many nights is part of progression raiding. Our current roster includes excellent tanks, melee and a few DPS and Healers. We are in need of Ranged DPS and a few more healers.

Moonkin - 1, High Need
Elemental Shaman - 1, High Need
Mage - 2, High Need
Priest - 1 Shadow, 1 Holy
Hunter - 1, High Need

We are looking for one extra healer of any class.

Our Raid Schedule is from 9 til 12 server time, EST

We do not expect our recruits to have cleared Ulduar 25 or be of the best geared. We just need players who are willing to improve and show up to raid. Your performance will be monitored and expect to receive advice and some criticism.

We ask all our recruits to have patience as we are rebuilding. If you are expecting to join a guild, and be carried through content with easy loots straight up through Yogg immediately, this is not the guild for you. There will be nights of wiping and learning, but hopefully lots of fun.

If you are emo or became angry and emotional during raids, please do not apply. We need players who can remain calm during wipes and be patient. Name calling and outbursts on Ventrilo helps nobody. Constructive criticism and suggestions are always wanted, but outright insults and disrespect will not be tolerated.

These raid spots are full time raid spots. We are recruiting for full time raiders who can provide at least 80% attendance. These are not bench spots. If you come prepared with your flasks, well gemmed and enchanted you will see progression and your share of loots through our EPGP system. This is unbiased and modified to ensure one person cannot horde infinite amount of points to just win every loot one week. New recruits are able to accrue points quickly to be able to roll. Whoever has most points wins.

We expect all our members to have high attendance. We are not looking to build a giant guild with casual players. Show your guildmates respect and you will be shown respect with examples of passing loot to you if you need it more. This is about the guild's progression, the not the individual. All raiders are expected to come prepared with knowledge of the boss strategies!

You are also expected to have the proper raid mods. The following mods are not optional
BigWigs or DBM,
Grid or Decursive,
Omen Threat Meter,
EPGPLootmaster,
Paladins must have PallyPower

Knowing what macros are and keybindings are a plus. We are not looking for mouse clickers who are too slow to react.

Have a good internet connection. When you DC during a fight or even on trash clears, you are useless. That is no good for the raid and our focus is on overall raid coordination and organization. Sorry if you DC frequently, but we are looking to improve and bolster our raid.
