[A-PvE] Casual Raiding Guild Pushing Through Ulduar

About Our Guild:

Out of Control was born at first as a just a guild of friends and grew fast into being a casual raiding guild that emphasized real-life before gaming. We realize that this is just a game, and that real life is much more important. With that said, we try to get as many raids going off in a week as we can when we have the members needed. This guild makes the assumption that you will become part of our group of friends not merely a member necessary for progression. We believe that through friendship and respect we can achieve the greatest amount of success both for personal enjoyment and character development.

Our leadership is elected from a group of guild elders that have been in the guild for a long time, or has given back to the guild in tremendous ways. We like to see fresh faces and are always open to opportunities to better the experience given back to our members. We run a 1-100 roll loot system where your gear is linked first before consideration is given for the item. This is to ensure that the given item is an up and also so that the other members can see what upgrades you are getting along the way.

Our guild consistently aims to accommodate our members that would love to raid more and we've done a pretty good job so far. As an established guild we have established attendance so we rarely have to cancel raids. We typically have 2-4 people on standby who are rotated in a fair and open manner. Members who maintain 100% attendance with good performance are typically not subbed out.

We have a very active private forum and many non-raiders in the guild. Friends of members are welcome to share the guild tag as well as members who have decided to stop raiding. Our recruitment spots are typically offered to non-raiding members before they are open to the public.

Our guild bank provides numerous items needed to level up professions, gems to maintain the constant gear upgrades, speed and wild magic potions, resist gear, flasks for our progression raids, and much more. Our constant gold pile allows us to provide materials that normally cost more.

OOC is one of the strongest casual raiding guilds on the server. We accomplish raiding success equal to many pure raiding guilds without all the harsh restrictions. If you desire a nice balance between serious raiding and adult fun, then this may be a great home for you. We also reward people for their contributions to the guild and we have a ranking system which reflects our desire to reciprocate positive contribution.

We are a guild of mature players and believe that like-minded players will have the most fun. Therefore we expect a level of maturity and respect from all members. This does not mean that OOC is a sterile place to play. We have a great deal of fun and share laughter at every opportunity. We are not a guild for the “ME” person as selfishness is not a trait we encourage or support. There is also no room amongst our ranks for “Leet Dudes”. Adult conversation and warm friendly quality players are what you will find in OOC.

About You:

Personality is the number one trait - we want you to fit in and get along with our members. You should be able to maintain our raid calendar when signing up for raids and post up updates if things come up. If you need to be absent for a raid or take a vacation we expect you to let us know.

You need to be competent with all aspects of your class. We rarely force respec's but in extreme circumstances.

You will need to bring your own buff food that you use outside of the fish feasts. Fish Feasts are provided by one of raid leaders at every raid. This also includes any potions that are subject to your class.

Your gear should be at or better than Naxx 25 level to be considered into the Ulduar 10 and Ulduar 25 raid groups. We still run Naxx once in awhile when we have the members interested in just having an easy and relaxed raid. You must have the best enchants and gems on/in your gear at all times. Please do this before you apply - that is the first thing we look at.
