About the Guild:

Our guild leaders have lead high ranking guilds prior to advent. We are very organized, but are just looking to start again after being gone from the game for a while. Here is alittle information about our guild but if you have any other questions your more than welcome to send me a whisper in game (Prìestftw) or post on the website, and we'll gladly answer them.

Our Guild Focus is to provide a community that is fun, productive, and helpful to its members. Our community will consist of both casual and more “serious”; players, this allows for our guild to grow in many ways. We strive to provide a place for players to have this type of community and grow as gamers, people, and friends. Qualities such as fairness, discipline, kindness, helpful attitudes, honesty, loyalty, self-control, and a strong importance of real-life over a virtual one are qualities that Advent value.

It is important to know what a guild holds as its focus and standards in order to see if your ideals align with that. Here at Advent we have several things that we hold to be important. We require that all our members respect and abide by these guidelines and ideals. Please know that all these rules and ideals are here to protect our members, to protect the fun of our members, and to protect the reputation of this guild. Rules will be broken at times, but remember the punishment will be relative to the severity of the rule being broken - you are not going to lose loot for accidental kill stealing. We are reasonable people here - the main point is "don't be a jerk, and be helpful".

- Age Requirements – You must be 15 to join Advent. Exceptions may be made under special circumstances with a majority leadership vote
Raid Rules---
1. If you say you are going to be there, then you better be there. And be on time.
2. Cooperation is a must for success, so work for the good of your team by doing your job.
3. Do as the Raid leader has instructed you to. Do not go beyond as you may cause harm to your raid team that may result in a wipe or worse. We don’t want to wipe if we can help it, and that depends on you doing as you have been instructed.
4. Do not spam the chat channels or vent.
5. Read up on raids before you go so that you are familiar with the content. You don’t have to have it memorized, but you should be familiar with the content so that the raid team does not have to explain things for an hour to you. A good source is wowwiki or watching it on Project Lore. There are many resources out there for you to use. If you don’t know any just ask a guild member.
6. Have your potions, food, bandages, gear, spec and anything else that you will need for the raid ready on time. Just because you are logged on does not mean that you are ready.
7. Remember that it is a game, so have fun! All of these rules are meant to improve the fun of all the guild members. If it cramps on your fun, then you probably should find another guild that will allow you to do what you wish.

Loot Policies---
1. *in progress of being changed*
2. “Ninja” looting will cause an action being taken against the looter. If determined to be on purpose it could result in expulsion from guild.
3. Know what you may need/want from the drops of the instance that you are going in to. We will not spend more than 5 minutes deciding on loot.
4. If the time limit is broken, nobody wants the item, or there is a dispute that cannot be resolved the drop will be disenchanted and the mats will be put into the gbank.

We are currently looking into the Ni Karma system. You can read about it here> http://www.wowwiki.com/Ni_Karma
