About the Guild:
Here at Dead Horse Society we run on a very limited raid schedule. As such we pride ourselves on maximizing our time in raids. Our raid schedule is Tuesday and Thursday from 8pm CST to 11pm CST, and Sunday from 7:30pm to 11:00pm. The following are our raid requirements.
Addons: Deadly Boss Mods / Bigwigs Boss Mod - either will do. Omen / Mythreat - A good threat meter is required. If you have trouble with threat, we will not continue to bring you to raids. oRa2 - Tank windows are important, and this takes up the least amount of resources to run. Attitude: Wipes will happen. Errors will happen. Raiding is all about learning from them and improving every attempt. What I don't tolerate is bullshit and bitching. If you mess up, just fess up and we can move forward. If someone else messes up, I won't tolerate belittling and blamecalling. Everyone has bad nights. Life is all about forgetting the past and working for a better future. WoW raiding isn't any different. Drama: Drama in any capacity will not be tolerated. People play a game to have fun. Drama sucks every ounce of fun out of it. Anyone causing drama to, for, or in DHS will be asked by an officer one time to explain themselves. Repeated occurences will result in removal. Application: I am not a fan of questionnaires. Applying should be something personal and offer some insight about who you are. Tell us a little about yourself. We're going to be playing with you for some time, so we'd like to know who it is we're raiding with. Tell us what you bring to the table and by that I don't mean what gear you have. We all know how to use the armory. Tell us why we should pick you over the app who posted ahead or behind you. If you wish to share about your pre or post TBC experience, that's fine. You don't need to go into how you would prepare for a raid. If you don't already know, we will tell you. You don't need to tell us about who you know in guild. If you have friends here, chances are they'll make that clear in your app thread. Keep in mind who your audience is. If our eyes hurt from reading your application, then it most likely will be rejected. Your application should reflect spending more then five minutes and using some sort of editing tool. |
