[H] Hero Squad - LF mature DPS (11/12 ICC25) 2 Night/8hr Raid Week

Hero Squad (US Bleeding Hollow-H) is looking for keen players of appropriate gear levels to round out our raiding core. We are progression-oriented but fun, comprised of mostly working adults who have busy lives but do love our WoW. We only raid two nights a week, but we work hard to clear content as quickly and efficiently as possible.

We also work very hard to make sure that everyone raids. Instead of having our extra members sitting outside the instance on 'standby' on raid nights, two of our officers work to swap players in and out of the raid group. Each raider sits out one or two bosses per lockout. This normally equates to everyone getting a 15-20 minute break somewhere along the night, and helps to keep the raid moving along swiftly. We track who needs loot, so players will not sit out a boss they need a drop from.

Hero Squad raid times are Tuesday, and Thursday starting at 8pm and guaranteed to end before midnight EST. While 25 man raids are scheduled only at those times, we are constantly scheduling multiple 10 man's, alt runs and 25's for past content on off nights/weekends which are not required for attendance.

Hero Squad was formed by some close irl friends at the end of BC. Because the guild was founded with some close friends, we tend to recruit like minded people with similar personalities into our small tight-knit group. The people who have raided with us, the pug community, as well as other guilds always enjoy raiding with us. Most of the guys who have joined us have quickly become friends with the guild. Raiding is our chance to kick back after a long work week, and as such, we work to keep drama and bullshit out of our raids. We don't fight in vent. We do not yell at people for making mistakes. The majority of our members are between 25-30 years old and have no desire for their WoW time to feel like a second job. That said, we still expect our raiders to take pride in their characters and put in the time and effort to raid at their full potential. This means not skimping on gems/enchants and coming to raids prepared with flasks, potions and food. We like to have fun first and foremost, and as a bonus, we are pretty decent at raiding.
