Seeking DPS to push Ulduar

Ultralisk is looking to recruit a few DPS to help us tackle the more challenging content in Ulduar.



Ultralisk is a guild that, for the most part, have been together since Vanilla Wow. We're a friendly, fairly laid back group of adults that comes together to do what we can to see all raid content. Back in the day we were known as EpiK Raiders and later Relentless, a raiding group that cleared MC, BWL, progressed up to twins in AQ40, and even killed a few bosses in the old school Naxx. in BC we cleared all content up to Illidan pre-nerf. That included killing Vashj and Kael'thas before the attunement removal, and killing Gruul before the SSC attunement was removed. In WotlK, we've cleared all content, which includes the server 5th 3D kill on 25 man, and the 4th 3D kill on 10 man.



Ultralisk is mainly casual and unusual raid times. They are quite unique compared to most guilds pushing raid content. We raid on:



Wednesdays at 7:45pm until 11:00pm

Saturdays and Sundays at 12:45pm until 6:00pm



Until recently we've been relatively casual in both pushing content and our raid times, but our recent successes have shown us we can work harder during our set times and become a more serious guild. We're recruiting more people with the same kind of vision to help fill out our roster. We want to best the harder encounters of Ulduar. Our goal is to further climb the ladder of guilds in progression on this server, so we're recruiting the following

class/specs:



1 Rogue

1 Ret Paladin

2 Hunters

1 Mage

1 Warlock

1 Elemental Shaman



We require that you are able to make our raid times without any regular real life schedule conflicts so that you would have a normal attendance of 100%. However, we are a raid of adults with jobs and families, we know stuff will come up occasionally and understand when you can't make every raid. You'll be tested on how well you're able to play. Gear isn't too big of an issue, what we're looking for are skilled players capable of putting out at the VERY least, 4k DPS on any fight that doesn't hinder your damage specifically and also have high situational awareness.



You'll be expected to bring consumables, be fully repaired, with reagents, for all of our raids, and be on time. Because of our shorter than average raiding schedule, we make the most of that time by staying focused.



You'll need to have a good sense of humour and not easily get offended and be mature, as our guild likes to have fun while we're raiding through boring trash and some of our members have dirty minds. You also must be able to take criticism and listen well, work well as a member of a team and take directions properly. We like to have fun on our raids, but raids aren't fun when we're pushing content

and people are being carried, so you'll be expected to give it your all when you show up for our raids.



We also have a unique DKP system. DKP is awarded per hour. Standbys earn at half the rate. However if you are in the raid at any time during that day, you earn at the full rate.



When an item drops, you express your interest in the item via a tell to the ML. The person with the highest DKP wins. Item costs are a percentage of your current DKP. Tier tokens are 40%, Twohanders are 45%, most everything else is 30% with the exception of wands, which are 15% and hunters, who pay 45% for their ranged weapon, 22.5% for a two hander and 15% for a onehander. Main set bids always win over offset, and offset wins cost half of the above prices.
