Welcome!

Dusk Raiders is currently seeking well geared individuals to raid with us and work on end game progression. We are currently looking for all classes to come have fun with us as we learn Cata and the Cata raids.

What we are about:
Have Fun and kill big bosses: Dusk Raiders is a family-friendly raiding guild filled with mature raiders who find fun in killing bosses, learning new fights, fighting to be better as players, and working together as a team to achieve progression goals. While not raiding we have fun bantering and grouping together to help people achieve their goals outside of raiding.

Raid Times are:
10 Man Cata Raids Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 8-11:00 PM PST

Initiative:
Make sure you know how to play your class. This includes: You have read strategies, carry consumables, ready to go each night for raids, communicate with other members, and have a desire to constantly improve your play. You have the ability to take constructive criticism so you can improve and are always striving to be better.

Dedication:
Do not be a slacker that cannot not show on time. Showing up for raids, running instances (i.e. heroics, 10 mans, regulars), chatting in guild, vent, etc. We are looking for raiders but we are also looking for people to have fun with and who maintain a sense of ease in game.

Skill:
Fire is BAD, MOVE! : You must be able to adapt to whatever changing situations happen. If you make a mistake on the fight, be smart enough not to do it twice. Standing in fires because you think the healers can handle it is NOT acceptable.

Experience:
Read and watch videos: We are looking for people who are willing to learn fights with us. We are looking for people with cool attitudes and who are willing to put in the time and money to actively be better. We expect common sense to be used and expect you to be able to adjust to what is needed.

We are NOT looking for people who are here for a hand out or are willing to ride the coat tails of others to get gear.

Gear:
Gemmed and enchanted correctly. You should show that you put time, effort, and thought into your gear and spec. Your gear shows how much you know about your class, how it works, and the dedication you put into that character. We are looking for people who are well geared to help you and us in progression. We will be looking at your gear to make sure you have proper enchants and gems. If any are lacking, it shows us you either don't care to put the time in or are looking for someone to do it for you.

This however does not mean we will not consider your application if you apply. If you have an outstanding application and are willing to improve, we will consider you for a position in our guild.

Preparation:
Be READY to Go: You should come prepared with Flasks, Food, etc. We also expect you to be at the raid destination prior to invites going out. As we begin at 8 pm, this means you must be ready for an invite at 7:30 pm server or force the risk of replacement.

If you feel you are an exceptional player and your class is closed, feel free to apply anyway. Exceptional players of a closed class will be considered.
