Hello ladies and gentlemen of the guildless or of the unsatisfied collective of the World of Warcraft!
I would like to immediately direct your attention to what our guild is recruiting - the mumbo jumbo will commence immediately thereafter! =)

We are progressing at a consistent pace through the dungeons of the Lich King. We would like the following classes to join us in the destruction of Arthas!

1-2 Any DPS Spec Shaman with Resto OS
1 Boomkin
1 Dps Druid with Resto OS
1 Warlock - Demo and Afflic
3 Mages
1 Holy Paladin
1 Retribution Paladin
1 Rogue

What we are:

Paradigm Shift is a casual style hardcore raiding guild - we don't throw hours at a boss in order to progress. Raid time starts when we post it and ends when we schedule it to unless we are incredibly close to a worthwhile achievement. Although we do raid 5 nights a week we do not go at it for 5 hours a night. We do what's best according to your schedule. After all, how can we progress without you?

Who gets invited?
For any endgame instance, we stress that people must be self motivated to get gear that will give them the greatest advantage when they step in. You must show self reliance.

Also you need to read up on the instances and ask for advice from your officers. They have been through instances themselves many a time and are there to improve you as a player. In the end, they have to decide whether or not you can raid with us, and showing enthusiasm will go a long way. Please accept their critiques positively and work on improving your raid play.

When you do come in to any instance, you must listen to your raid leader. Doing so will showcase your reliability and increase your chances for future invites. This really comes to mind with bosses that will make individuals key in an encounter. If you blow up the raid even if you receive multiple tells, warnings, etc., it does not help your situation. Listen.

As with every guild, we have our days when 30+ raiders are online and we have our days when only 20+ decide to show up. If you see yourself as a consistent and critical raider (someone who is able to make mistakes and learn from there as well as point out the errors of others and help them fix it), please read on.

When you do apply - this is stated in the application forum but some people fail at reading - please, please, please, PLEASE put effort into your application. One word answers will not get you looked upon with enthusiasm. First impressions are everything. Read the instructions carefully, re-read what you wrote, determine if it will be met with merit rather than skepticism - and send away!

Our raid schedule currently is as follows:
Sunday 5:00 -9:30 PM ST

Monday 5:00 -9:30 PM ST

Tuesday 7:00 - 9:30 PM ST

Wednesday 7:00 - 9:30 PM ST

Thursday 5:00 - 9:30 PM ST

Friday OFF (Optional 10 Man Ulduar or TOGC10)

Saturday OFF (Optional 10 Man Ulduar or TOGC10)

Please note that because of the content we are currently at 5 days of raiding. As we get faster and better at downing these new bosses Sundays and or Mondays will be removed.
