In our first week as a guild, with many new faces and people who had never even seen the encounter, we walked in and 1-shotted Professor Putricide on 25-man. We took a few attempts on BQL and got her to 25%, and with merely a few attempts on Valithria Dreamwalker, took her to 85%. We believe we will successfully conquer both of those encounters and most likely Sindragosa as well during this coming raid week.

About Us
<Despair> is a raiding guild of working adults and college students who enjoy playing and progressing through content together. Progression is taken very seriously, but jokes and casual jesting are common. We are focused on pushing through the hardest content in the game and will accept no drama to hinder our potential. We work for the betterment of the guild and not any one individual, and thus we use a silent auction DKP system with a guild-objective loot council for certain key items.

Player Expectations
Players seeking to join <Despair> should have the best knowledge of their class and up to date information on upcoming boss encounters. Our expectations are high and we recommend that all who apply be in appropriate item level gear to coincide with current progression content. Like any progressed raiding guild we ask all trials and members to bring their own consumables to all raids. We ask that all trials/members be willing to take criticism and responsiblity for their mistakes in a raid environment. As a trial applicant or even as a full time member you might occasionally be asked to sit out of an encounter and your understanding and cooperation is needed with this.

The officers will not hold back if you made a mistake and will most likely question your position in the guild if you are unable to rectify the issue. Continual mistakes will eventually lead to sitting you out of the encounter and could potentially lead to having your application declined. Other than that we are here to enjoy ourselves and obliterate raid encounters.

Requirements
- Be 18 or older and in control of your own schedule.
- Have a firm understanding of your role in raids and be willing to take criticism and advice.
- Research all possible encounters before applying and research new content prior to attempting.
- Attend 100% of raids. Having to miss a night is forgivable, as long as you let us know prior to raid.
