About the Guild:

Kalimdors Legion is looking for a few good raiders to come feed the Lich Kings minions…

We are 10/12 ICC25, have one 12/12 ICC10 group, an 11/12 and two other groups are forming
We raid Tues, Thurs and Monday from 7:30 - 11pm CST.

Healer - Resto Shaman and Druid
Ranged - Hunter and Demo Lock

Highly skilled applicants of any class are always welcome to apply for our competitive raid spots. Unless you are a healing priest.

Q: Wait, my priest is awesome why don't you want me?

A: If you really *that* good ok, apply. We just have several very good priests already. So you have to be insanely good, or able to unlock 25 man hard modes (jk.. maybe?) for us to even consider.

Q: So are you a casual guild, or are you a progression guild? I *must* label you somehow!

A: Well if we must have a label we’re really a Progressual Semi-SoftHardishcore Guild. We have a progression focused raid team that is progressing through ICC with hard modes and achievements on our minds. However, we realize that there is more to the guild than just the raid team, which means we have some folks in our guild - friends, family, and retired raiders - who just log in to hang out and don't raid that much.

Q: So is your raid team hardcore? I'm l33t, and my gearscore is over 9000, so I only want to run with the best!

A: We're not hardcore, in that we only raid 25 man content three nights a week, four hours a night, even if there are new bosses up. That said our three night schedule means that to get the content down we must come prepared and be as effective and efficient with our schedule as possible. So While we may joke around in vent, when the time comes we get down to business and get bosses dead.

Q: Ah, that sounds awesome, but I can only raid once or twice a week, thats cool cause you're not hardcore, ya?

A: We really only want raiders who show up 83.3333 (repeating, of course) percent of the time. If you only show up once in a while to raid, you won't.

Q: OK, I'll be there, 100% of the time! Then I can hang with ya'll, right?

A: As long as you can perform your role. Anyone who expects to join our progression team is going to have to be an exceptional player. You have to know your class and stay current in that knowledge and study the encounters.

Q: No worries, I'm awesome! That means I'll always raid, right?

A: If you are truly awesome and we can't live without you, maybe. In reality, you'll probably be asked to sit once in awhile. If no one ever sat no one could ever miss a night or we'd be stuck.

Q: How does loot work?

A: Our 25 man loot system involves the dark art of divining answers from chicken entrails... I mean loot count and attendance spreadsheets. Basically, if you are interested in an item, /roll for it and embrace the Mystery.

Q: What about 10 mans?

A: We currently have three 10 man teams that work on ToGC/ICC - Mythbusters, Canadian Bacon, and Deadliest Warrior. The 10 man teams run on off nights and weekends when their respective members can make it. That translates into "Canadian Bacon will run this Wednesday, no wait, this Saturday, erm, this Sunday!"

Q: Hmm, well, I guess that's OK. How do I apply?

A: Visit http://www.klguild.com and put in an application.

Q: By the way, why is there no apostrophe in "Kalimdors Legion"?

A: It's hiding from the Grammar Nazi's.. possibly in the lost sock dimension?
