Apatheia (A-PvE) is looking for raiders to fill 10 man CATA raid slots

Apatheia of Khadgar is a 3-day a week alliance raiding guild that values performance and attitude.

Raid schedule:
Monday 8:30 pm – 12:00 am EST
Wednesday 8:30 pm – 12:00 am EST
Sunday 8:30 pm – 12:00 am EST

We are currently looking for 3-4 exceptional players of any class, but we're particularly interested in the following:

1 Tank class
1 shaman (resto)
1 druid (tree or boomkin)
1 mage
1 lock
1 priest (holy or shadow)


WotLK Progression:

We've cleared 25 man: Naxx, OS 3D, EoE, 13/14 Ulduar, and 5/5 ToC. We have also cleared ICC 25 man wirh 10/12 HM's, 11/12 HM's in 10 ICC with many raiders having obtained drakes.

About us:

Apatheia is a serious raiding guild with a casual raiding schedule on the US Khadgar server (PvE, Alliance). Our roster consists of players hailing from Everquest and other MMORPGs prior to World of Warcraft, as well as players for whom WoW is their first online RPG. Our players age ranges are from late teens to grizzled veterans, and we have players from all over the world in our guild.

Our 25-man roster is comprised of experienced raiders, many of whom have raided WoW dungeons since Zul'Gurub and Molten Core were new. Therefore, our crew enjoys a certain polish and focused approach to the way that it performs. Our progression is based not on hammering an encounter into our heads over and over; rather, our knowledgeable group of raiders brings enough determination to new content that with a relatively small learning curve we are able to master content and progress despite a relatively light raiding schedule. 25 man progression content is organized by the guild leadership, but several 10 man groups are run as well on a more informal basis.

Apatheia has a roster of talented people who will succeed. Our members are mostly middle-aged people with jobs, school, kids, and other responsibilities. We have a few people at the college/graduate school stage. Our players, and particularly officers, are dedicated to maximizing performance. We will do everything possible to help our guildmates achieve their potential. However, we understand that there is a minimum level of performance, and raiding is not an entitlement.

What we want:

- People who really enjoy raiding, but also realize that it takes dedication and responsibility to be successful.
- People who know how to play their class, can improvise, learn from other’s mistakes most of the time, and who will not make the same mistake twice.
- People who come prepared (glyphs, enchants, consumables), and know their role. Reliability and ability to fill multiple roles (tank, heal, or dps) is a huge advantage.
- People who have a good computer/internet connection, get along well with their guildmates, take responsibility for their mistakes, and who do not complain.
- People who are responsible for their own happiness. Who are willing to either participate in an activity someone else organizes, or organize something themselves if needed.

What we have to offer:

- We have made great progression in Ulduar, normal mode ToC, and we continue to progress in heroic ToC.
- We have a fantastic roster of like-minded players who already meet the above-mentioned criteria. We are not carrying mediocre players who blame others for their mistakes.
- Our short raiding week allows people time to spend on other activities (alts, PUG raids, kiddos, achievements).
- Good progression without a massive time commitment.
- We use a fair DKP system to distribute loot in 25-mans (modified Shroud Loot System, with fun aka free, 10 points, and half bids)
