Seeking a few Pro DPS for Ulduar

We are currently recruiting active, dependable, and serious raiders in the following classes to round out our CORE RAIDING ROSTER in preparation for Ulduar :

WTF has all current Wrath of the Lich King content on farm including 3-drake Sartharion, and a history of multiple Wrath and BC server firsts on our previous server (Maelstrom). We are a tight-knit group of heavily raid-experienced adult players (median age about 25 years) with outside careers and interests who are committed to serious PVE progression in a fun and friendly environment. WTF has been under the same leadership since creation almost 2 years ago.

WTF raids Sun. – Thurs. from 9pm to 1am EST (BDF server time) during progression season. We are adults with REAL LIVES so we rarely raid past posted times even on progression nights- and that means no screwing around at raid time. Loot is a modified set-price DKP system (standby members also earn dkp). We expect AT LEAST 80% raid attendance. We purposely run a lean roster (minimal bench time and plenty of gear of all) and thus need raiders who are consistently online, on-time, and ready to roll with optimized specs and gear, extra consumables, and A-game in hand.

-Are under 18 years old even if “everyone” says you are mature for your age. We just REALLY hate canceling raids when the main tank gets grounded.
-Are easily offended by occasional explicit language or discussions. We're adults, not necessarily grown-ups.
-Cannot receive (or give) respectfully delivered *constructive* criticism
-Can’t follow Raid Leader instructions, or think it's ok to shout over him/her
-Are not willing to be rotated to standby at the RL’s or your Group Leader’s discretion
-Procrastinate enchants/gems on new gear while “saving for your alt’s flying mount”
-Enjoy hissy-fits, emo-logs, whining, nerd-rages, finger-pointing and backstabbing vendettas against fellow guildies
-Have no clue what other classes than your own can do or bring to a raid
-Are allergic to mods, macros, forums, vent, internet research, or a bit of theory-crafting
-Think raid is the perfect occasion to smoke that giant doobie your cousin gave you
-Only show up on farm content nights or fail to post your absences in advance
-Like to boast or be nasty or generally act like a jerk while wearing our guild tag
-Constantly disconnect, run with medium-to-high latency, or use a Model T computer
-Fall asleep at your keyboard by 11pm server (NOPE NOT EVEN ON STANDBY)

Therefore our recruiting process may be a bit slower than other guilds; we want to make sure this is right you AND for us. Applicants must be prepared to submit a complete, informative and well-written application, undergo at least one vent interview, and to stay in contact with officers (without being annoying) during the application process. On-server applicants should be prepared to show us their stuff on trial runs.
