Carpe Noctem is a Social and Fun-loving Raiding Guild. We basically balance our raiding ventures with other activities and do not spend more than 3 nights a week or 3 hours a night raiding (although we may schedule more than that on any given week, most members average the above).

We highly enjoy the Social aspect of the game and we select members based first and foremost on personality. This insures a good fit with the present members and promotes teamwork and thus maximizes the fun for all concerned.

Our social activities include but are not limited to, in-game events, forum contests, instance runs and more. We also have a strong vent culture and love to be silly and have a good time.


We are a mature raiding guild and we do not recommend that those under 21 apply. This is not to say that we do not make rare exceptions to that rule; above all we look at maturity and the ability to work with a team.

We highly value self-sufficiency, but realize that group effort is the key to progression. We are a pun-loving, supportive, intellectual group that appreciates sense of community, friendship and those that actively contribute to the social atmosphere of the guild.

We do not define ourselves as a hardcore raiding guild in that we do not require our members to attend every raid, we do not practice build control, nor is it the only focus of our members. Instead we allow people to have a life, and therefore accept slower progression in return for being able to achieve it through friendship. Although raiding is not required, if you commit to an event then you need to treat it as such and show up on-time and prepared. We believe in raiding smart while having fun and once we step into a raid, we take our actions very seriously.
