10 Man Progression:

Friday - 930 - Whenever.
Saturday - Afternoon/Evening dependent upon availabilities.


25 Man Required Attendance:
75% bare minimum (90%+ is ideal)

10 Man Required Attendance:
Variable Per Raid Leader

Loot System:
We use a Bidding DKP system, players are awarded DKP for each boss downed that they are present for (players who are ready and 'stand-by' receive a portion of this as well). Upon item drops players Bid DKP in an auction system for the item. All bids are done in tells to an officer, so you do not know who you are bidding against. Counter bids may be made up until the point no other players wish to up the ante.


The Deserters Standard:
We expect players to bring everything they've got to the table, leave your QQ at home and play your class to the fullness of your ability. Healer, DPS, or Tank, we expect you to know how to play your class, and play it well. Although we will go through brief explanations of bosses, we do so under the expectation that our members have at the very least browsed over strategies and have a general understanding of the fight. Finally, we expect when you can raid, you raid, we are a progression guild and cannot do so if our players are not consistently available, if you are a good player, and you can make our raid times, chances are you will advance to raider status at a good rate.


What is Deserters Looking For?

We are actively recruiting the following DPS:
Druids (feral/balance)
Priests (Shadow)
Shaman (elemental/enchance)

We are also recruiting the following healers:
Druids (Restoration)
Shaman (Restoration)

The following Tank Classes will also be considered:
Druid (Feral)
Death Knight (Any Spec)

Exceptional applicants of the following classes/specs will certainly be considered:
Rogues (Any spec)
Hunters (Any spec)
Paladins (ret/holy)


Applicant Period/Process:
Applicants should expect a 1-2 week evaluation period and, usually within 2-3 raids (ex: a couple full Naxx clears, or Ulduar runs), a relatively quick decision to be made regarding promotion to our roster. Promotion is done through Council decision and, in short, people who make it this far typically don't have much to worry about. As we filter out a lot of Applicants in the pre-invitation stage, if you do ultimately get a shot at our roster, it's more of an attitude and make-sure-you-weren'​t-lying-to-us check than anything. Regardless, it goes without saying that Applicants should be at the top of their game during this period to make the best impressions they possibly can.
