LFM Ulduar (#41 US/98 World)

About Us:

Halcyon is dedicated raiding guild currently looking for some key classes for Ulduar. We are stable, and have been around since the beginning of TBC. We are currently ranked #98 world / #41 US based on encounters at wowprogress.com. Our guild offers a good home to skilled players who see raiding progression as their top priority in game. We are composed mostly of college students or above in age, and with that comes some foul language and crude humor. If you would be offended by such things, Halcyon is probably not the right place for you. We run a fairly casual raid compared to some other guilds, and we do not name call or yell every time someone makes a mistake. That does not mean we tolerate failure, though, and players who repeatedly die / let others die / suicide bomb the raid are sat. We provide our raiders with free flasks / potions / food, as well as guild bank repairs. We also take care of gems and enchants for best in slot gear. We spoil our raiders, because we love our raiders.

We are currently recruiting excellent players of all classes and job roles. If you feel you have the dedication, skill, gear, and experience to unseat one of our current raiders, we challenge you to do so.

Especially looking for:
- Holy Paladins
- Tanks of any kind (Druid preferred but not required)
- Ranged DPS (Emphasis on boomkins and hunters)

Our progression raiding schedule is:

Sunday - Thursday, 7:15 pm to 11:00 pm server (Pacific) time. We have also been known to stay late or raid on weekends as needed.

What we expect of you:

- Be able to make our scheduled raid times. Formally, we require 75% attendance. We do not keep much of a bench available though, so habitual missing of certain days every week is frowned upon. So is habitually being late or leaving early. Of course, we realize that real life happens, and that your grandmother falling down the stairs with your cat who happens to be on fire in her arms is probably grounds for not showing up to a raid. If such an incident is planned, you will need to post beforehand.

- Be geared. Be optimized. If you are to raid with us, you are expected to be equipped with the best enchants, best gems, and to be geared enough to jump right into the content we are working on (hard modes).

- Experience. Ulduar raid experience is preferred, and pre-Wrath raid experience is also very welcome. We do not like to hand hold. Well, most of us don't anyway.

- Ability. We expect you to know the ins and outs of your class, and how to perform well. We expect you to keep up to date with changes in your class, and be able to adjust accordingly. IE: Paladins spamming Flash of Light just doesn't cut it anymore. Proof of ability in the form of WWS/wowmeter is pretty much a necessity.

- Stable connection and stable computer. If you are running on a very slow PC and are living in Australia, please do not apply. If your ISP hates you, fix it, then apply.

- Be a decent human being. If you know you are one of those types that just wont be able to avoid starting petty drama with anyone and everyone around you, you would be better looking for another guild, as we will not tolerate it.
